SIHH 2016: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon Chronograph Openworked (In Platinum)

Gorgeous watch with a myriad of details, or basically a watch to fit in with their others. The new Royal Oak Tourbillon Chronograph Openworked (Ref 26347PT.OO.D315CR.01) was unveiled last week as the counterpart of their titanium watch (same design found here). The watch has a 44mm platinum case protecting the hand-wound AP Caliber 2936. The watch is gorgeous. The movement is gorgeous (sorry, these are the largest pictures I could find), the 950 platinum case is exquisitely finished and the openworked movement could not look better. One, however, might be more tempted to look at the Royal Oak Offshore Diver Chronograph (this is just one of the four versions released), due to its lower price tag. The price of the Tourbillon Chronograph Openworked isn't the best-looking number. Coming in at $315,000, you aren't going to see many of these in the real world.
