Ocean7 has been around for quite some time producing watches that are quite affordable. In fact, they have yet to make a watch that retails for over $1000. One should expect this new watch to be somewhere between $600-$700. Recently, Ocean7 asked for opinions on this new design for their LM-9T. The results weren't positive at all and 70% of people didn't like it. I find that the new design has way too much orange and there are a few other areas where improvement could be made. The first one is the length of the hour hand, which at the moment is too short. The next possible change could be the RED tip on the second hand. Why would Ocean7 put a red second hand on a watch that is primarily orange? The logo placement is strange, the target dial needs to go and (once again) there's too much orange. I just can't get over the overwhelming amount of orange on the dial. Of course, this is not the final design and it is purely conceptual so expect to see some changes by the time the watch is released. Despite the fact that there are a lot of changes that could be made, I am happy to see micro brands like Ocean7 continue to grow because it not only bodes well for them but also for other brands as well.
