Probably one of the most interesting watches on Kickstarter to date, the Greenwich Tine Gate (GTG) Watch is modeled after the GMT Shepherd Gate Clock, one of the most famous clocks in the world. The watches are special with both a 12-hour version (like a normal watch) and a 24-hour version (hour hand makes one lap around the dial per day) being available. All the watches have automatic movements, something I admire, especially given the risk of making such a large initial investment. I won't go over the technical specifications here, but I will talk about the watch and my opinion of it. First off, it is refreshingly original and unique. There is nothing else like it and I have to say that I greatly admire the folks behind the brand. Second, the sheer number of variations they offer is astounding: straps, movements, and more can all be picked by the buyer. Basically, it's a great watch. Variations start at £120 (or about $181 USD). If interested you can purchase watches on their Kickstarter page here.
