This is just another watch embodying the classic style of the Reverso collection from JLC. The new Grand Reverso Ultra Thin 1948 is almost a carbon copy from the original version from 1948. From the blue and white dial along with the "Fabrique en Suisse" (Made in Switerland) notation on the dial this watch it is about as close as it gets when it comes to reissues. The polished case is 46.8mm x 27.4 mm, a relatively small, very classy case size. The watch case is 7.2mm thick which is quite thin. Inside of the watch is the hand-wound calibre 822/2, a movement with a 45-hour power reserve that beats at 21,600BPH. The movement by itself is just 2.94mm thick. I should also mention that the movement is tested for accuracy over a period of 1,000 hours, so don't expect any problems. The watch will be paired with a matte black alligator strap and polished pin buckle, which is basically a scratch magnet. This watch will be available exclusively in Jaeger LeCoultre boutiques.
