The Omega Speedmaster Rio 2016 is a limited edition to celebrate the 2016 Olympics. I wrote about this watch when it was released. You can see that article here. I had the opportunity to take some pictures of the new watch, and here they are. It is an eye-catching watch for fans of the Olympics or Omega. Celebrating the tradition of timekeeping, Omega has released this beautiful rendition of their Mark II, complete with actual bronze, silver, and gold rimming the chronograph subdials. The watch wears larger than it's dimensions would suggest, but it is certainly nothing to be alarmed by. It features Omega's rack-and-pusher clasp, which makes the clasp thicker than that on other Omega watches. The bracelet is thin and has a large amount of small links, making the watch very comfortable. It retails for a very reasonable $8,600 USD. It is a limited edition of 2,016 pieces.
