 The newest startup brand, Haldor, is now available on Indiegogo. The Abissi is their first watch and oh my did they hit it out of the park. You see the same stuff everyday from these brands. "Stylish, modern" and so on. The Abissi is quite the opposite. Basically a forum diver, the person who created the watch clearly knew what they were doing. Inside the watch is an ETA 2824-2 movement, a beautifully created engine we have been seeing less and less of as ETA cuts off it's supply chain. The movement is adjusted in five positions (one step under a chronometer). The watch is chunky, but its size works well for a dive watch. The case is 45.5mm in diameter, has a lug to lug length of 57mm, and is 15.5mm thick. While 15.5mm seems thick, one must take into account that the watch does have a 4mm sapphire crystal. These measurements allow the watch to be WR to 1000m. The bezel is a 120-click ceramic bezel and the dial has markers coated in C3 lume. At 9 o'clock is an automatic helium escape valve. Basically, it's the best crowd-funded watch I've seen yet. The watch can be purchased for a mere $545 on their IndieGoGo campaign here. The only reason I say "mere" in the previous sentence is because a watch with all these features would normally sell for well over this price and oftentimes will be well into the thousands because of the brand name.
