Sorry for the lack of posts the past week, school's been extremely busy. This is the Glashutte Original Senator Chronometer Blue, a watch that will be officially unveiled during Baselworld this year. The watch has a look that is similar to railroad pocket watches, especially given the roman numerals and large seconds subdial. The style of hands also give the feeling of a railroad watch. Protected by a 42mm white-gold case, the Caliber 58-01 movement contains an interesting feature: when the crown is pulled out, the seconds hand instantly resets to zero and stays there, while the minute hand jumps to the next minute marker. They also released a short video, which is directly below. Overall, a very cool watch from Glashutte. The pricing hasn't been announced, but I would expect it to be somewhere around $30,000 if not more.
