The new Girard Perregaux Sea Hawk can be summed up in one simple word: bold. This colors on this new watch are anything but subtle however, I am actually a fan of the new color scheme because I think it looks good and the colors all mesh well. There is a lot of color but surprisingly enough, it isn't overwhelming. The 44mm case is on the larger side, adding to the bold look of the watch. However, since this is a serious dive watch (water resistant to 1000m) shrinking the case would be difficult. Inside ticking at 28,800 BPH is the GP03300-0074 which displays the: date, time, and power reserve. There are two different strap/bracelet options. There is the blue rubber strap, which makes for a LOT of blue and there is the 2-link(?) bracelet that isn't quite so colorful. Both look good but if I had to wear one I would go with the bracelet just because (in my opinion) there is too much blue with the strap. Regardless this is a very nice watch with some awesome design features. The pricing starts at $11,350 on the rubber strap and maybe $300-$500 more for the bracelet.
