If you live in the Boston area, Tourneau at Copley is a great place to buy/find/look at watches. The experience is great, the salesmen/women are knowledgable and personable. On my last visit, Paul Costa, one of the salesmen, was kind enough to introduce me to their watchmaker/technician. He also gave me a few other books and magazines to peruse. They carry Panerai, Cartier, Omega, Longines, Breguet, Patek Philippe, Rolex, Tag Heuer, Tudor, and IWC. I think that's it, at least. This is not a sponsored post, just my experience. To prove it: their prices might not be the best around, and since they don't negotiate anymore (as of May 2014, I believe, it might be 2013), their price is what you will end up spending. Their other location in the Burlington Mall carries mid-sector brands such as Hamilton, Movado, Oris, etc. The salesmen are also very personable there (I bought my father a Movado there). Check it out if you have time. Also in Copley, the Montblanc boutique, who actually makes some nice watches.
