Bell & Ross' newest watches, the BR123 (three-hand) and the BR126 (chronograph) are, in my opinion, some of the best watches to come out of B&R in quite some time. Although the watches in the Vintage collection have always retained modest sizes, I appreciate that B&R have ignored the current trend of large (oftentimes bulky) watches. Although I certainly don't mind such watches (they make up the majority of my collection), I can't help but retain an appreciation for the smaller, timelessly designed watches such as these. I'm not trying to sell you anything, I just like the watch. The navy and gold color scheme was chosen to emulate a Naval officer's uniform. The outcome looks fantastic, but I thought I couldn't ignore the inspiration behind it. Both watches have a 43mm stainless steel case. Protecting the sunburst dial is a domed sapphire crystal, which is surrounded by a blue anodized aluminum bezel. The subdials on both watches (123 at 6, 126 at 3 and 9) have a snailed guilloché decoration. The exhibition back (although there are no photos to show it) would reveal the BR123's BR-Cal 305 and the BR126's BR-Cal 301. I just noticed it has a folding buckle, I need this watch in my life. Thankfully, the watches are among the entry-level watches with the BR123 coming in at 2,800 CHF (~$2800 USD and 4,200 CHF (~$4,300 USD).
