Bell & Ross has always focused mostly on pilot watches, given their history of providing watches to military pilots. The Sport Heritage model line (located under the Vintage collection) pays homage to watches worn by civilian pilots on the 1960's. This is B&R's newest watch under this collection. As the name suggests, the watch features two complications, a flyback chronograph and a GMT, allowing pilots (or in this case wealthy frequent fliers) to keep track of two time zones simultaneously. You can set the 9 o'clock subdial by pressing the button at 10. Each push adjusts the time by one hour. At three o'clock is the running seconds hand and located directly underneath it, between the four and five, is the date. Besides the hour and minute hands responsible for normal timekeeping responsibilities, the chronograph seconds and minutes hand also originate from the center. A flyback complication makes it possible to reset the chronograph seconds hand back to zero without stopping it first. This makes it easier to measure times with a short interval between them. The case is 43mm in diameter and is paired with a calfskin leather strap and folding buckle. The case and folding buckle are both made from polished steel. The price of this new limited edition (500 pieces) will be announced at a later date.
