Here is what most people go to Baselworld for, to see Rolex's new models. Here is one of the watches they will see while they are there. Surprisingly, the new Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II has a case made out of, rather than stainless steel like past models, white gold. The case itself is 40mm in diameter and sports a patented system to create the two-color ceramic bezel. Why am I so happy Rolex released this watch? They released a Cerachrom "Pepsi" bezel. You will remember last year when they released a blue/black version of the GMT is was one of the not only most anticipated releases but popular. If there is one watch that had a lasting effect from last year's Baselworld it is that one. The rest of the watch, including the case shape, the bracelet with the polished center links, and the Rolex Calibre 3186 will remain the same as their older versions. Here is the first Rolex novelty for 2014!
