Corum is a small company based out of La Chaux-de-Fonds. This new watch will be available for Baselworld 2014. It is Corum's first double tourbillon. They really hit it out of the park with this new watch. They did not stop at just the tourbillon, but they also offered a 72-hour power reserve in the caliber CO 1008. They also added a retrograde date and another very interesting feature. One can push the crown and set the minute hand instantly to 12 so it is easier to set the exact time. This feature can be used up to five minutes before or after the hour. However, as with their other Admirals Cup watches, it is built for action. The 45mm layered case is water resistant to 300m and 14.4mm thick. But as much as the sporty edge is prevalent on these watches they are also rather classy. The leather band really completes this look. Each balance wheel will be beating at 21,600 BPH and even though the dial is somewhat skeletonized, it still has an exhibition caseback. This new watch will be available in either 18K gold or grade 5 titanium and it will be seen by anyone not from Corum at Basel 2014. No information on pricing has been released yet, but I will update you on the everything I hear. It will be expensive, but I am just not sure yet. Thanks for reading!
