Breitling has just announced a watch that pays homage to the biggest Bentley engine, the 6.75 litre powering the luxurious Mulsanne limousines. The size of the case is reminiscent to the size of the motor, the biggest. The new watches are 49mm in diameter, which is a huge hunk of metal. They use the Breitling Caliber 44B, which is based off of the ETA 2892. It comes in quite a few versions (6), but I will talk about two. The white dialed version is not a LE. The black dialed version is. The price is indicative of the LE vs. non-LE. The white dial, aka not a limited edition, is close to $8,800 while the black dialed version is closer to $12,000 if I recall correctly. To see the rest of the information including dimensions and every version you can visit the Breitling For Bentley website. Breitling did a really good job on these and they are great looking watches.
