There is lots of talk in the watch world about superluminova. The swiss made lume is some of the brightest available and is by far the most widely used luminous material (lume for short) out there. There are multiple grades of superluminova. The brightest grade is C3 with BG W9 following in a close second. The chart shows how the lume will look in daylight. C3 will have an off-white tint, whilst BG W9 will be pure white, preferred by some due to the fact that an off-white tint may look slightly off on some watches. But, due to the fact that C3 is so bright, the lume will often appear to be green if not in direct sunlight, a drawback of having strong lume. I hope this will help you understand better what superluminova is when people talk about it.
