The newest release from Baume & Mercier, the Clifton Chronograph Complete Calendar is a watch that will be warmly welcomed indeed. This addition to the Clifton collection has a combination of chronograph functions and complete calendar (day, date, month, moon phase) all crammed into one dial that at the same time looks incredibly clean. The top subdial indicates minutes and also has two windows that display the day and month. At 6 o’clock, the moonphase sits within the chronograph hour indicator. The chronograph seconds hand is blue in color to match the other hands that have have a hand in indicating the elapsed time. A 24-hour indicator sits at 9 o’clock. The date is displayed in the cleanest way possible, by a fourth center-set hand pointing to the date on the outer rim of the dial. Although I think it's pretty obvious which hand indicates the date, it is the red-tipped one. The only time the watch needs to be reset (at least the calendar function) is at the end of February. Other than that, it can run and will automatically account for months with a different number of days.
