Roger Dubuis is big this year for their "Goodbye cuckoo, hello extraordinary" theme and their new watches are indeed extraordinary. They focused on one model line, the Hommage. All the versions come in either pink or white gold, I only show the pink gold versions below.
Three new watches from this collection, all in pink gold, all with dressy roman numerals.
Tribute to Roger Dubuis
This watch is supposed to be a tribute to their founder, who the company is still named after today. It has a flying tourbillon, large date and power reserve display. It is a limited edition of 208 pieces.
A watch I originally covered here when it was first announced, this watch has a bi-compax chronograph layout and a beautiful dial. More details can be found in the original blog post. The beautiful guilloche dial really gives the watch a nice look.
Double Flying Tourbillon
Wow. That is the first word that comes to mind when you see this watch. The guilloche dial is cut by hand and it goes to show just how good this company is at what they do. It is just an amazing watch.
One final model has just been announced, so I will update this post. The automatic is the most basic of all the new models. It has two central hands and a small seconds dial at 9 o'clock. It comes in either white gold, pink gold or pink gold with diamonds. The watch is fantastic and really something elegant that looks like it was made for a suit.
Did Roger Dubuis have three great releases or what? These watches are all fantastic examples of the craftsmanship and quality that RD has to offer. The prices are all going to be very high, but they will be worth it. This is not something I often say about any watches but the new RDs are just that nice. 2014 is turning out to be a great year.
