IWC recently revamped their Aquatimer collectoin at SIHH this year. For Baselworld they will release a few new watches, this is one of them. The Portofino Chronograph used to come in only stainless steel but now it will come in one more metal, red gold. They are available in two dial colors, slate gray (new for this model line) and silver plated (not new for this model line). Each houses the same Calibre 75320 (based off of the Valjoux 7750) in their 42mm red gold cases. It will feature a pin buckle, although a deployant clasp would be preferred by many due to the likely fact that the watch will cost over $20,000. Although they will have other new watches for Baselworld 2014 this is a very strong start and it is likely that their strong performance at SIHH this year is just the start of a very successful year for IWC.
