Omega has just launched the "Speedy Tuesday" limited edition, giving a nod to the blogs and fans who coined the term. Of course, just hours after the release, the $6,500 watch has had all the numbers reserved, showing again just how popular the Speedmaster is. Of course, this is a gorgeous watch. The reverse panda dial looks fantastic, the classicly-styled Omega logo is great, and the leather strap pairs fantastically with the watch. In my opinion, it looks much better than the normal metal bracelet, though this is mainly due to the white subdials (in my opinion). The lume is beautifully applied (see below). In fact, they kept all the best and most iconic features (movement, etc.), while changing other parts to make it look better. It hurts me knowing I'll never get my hands on one. According to the picture of the caseback below, there will only be 2012 made, the year the folks over at Fratello Watches coined the term. As of writing this post (approximately 5 hours after the release) all 2012 watches have been reserved (noooo). You can find any other info you might want on Omega's website here.
