A brand on Kickstarter that makes watches that appear to be Panerai and U-boat's baby. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but the design is not amazingly original. The watch uses what looks like an ETA 2824-2. However, the movement is just a clone and is actually the Seagull ST2130. The watch comes in three versions, all using the same design base design but it changes up colors on the 37mm dial and 23mm strap (why 23mm?, I don't have any idea why because you have to get a custom strap made for it, not a good size though). One version has white numerals on the black dial with a black leather strap with a gunmental case. The 44mm case of the watch will be an individually numbered limited edition xxxx/1000. While they do not specify it as a limited edition, only 1000 made is pretty limited. They say the number is a "serial number", I say they are individually numbered. The next style is on a tan leather strap with a matte black PVD case finish and tan numerals and hands, rather than white. It is also xxxx/1000. The final version is xx/27. There were only 27 made. It is the stealth watch. Blackout, black hands and numerals, black dial, black strap. Both the gunmetal case and the matte black case cost $260 and the stealth version, which is all sold out, was on sale at $400. These prices are quite competitive and with a production price of these watches being only $190, they are not looking for profit. Pictures of the watches as well as more information can be found on their kickstarter page here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/82228316/mouve-m01?ref=search. Thanks for reading!
