To celebrate the opening of the first Latin America boutique (in Rio de Janeiro), Hublot has just released a new watch. Limited to 500 pieces this new watch will have a 45mm black ceramic case with a bi-compax in-house made Hublot Aero movement. This new watch, although it is to celebrate the new boutique, was really made for Pele, a soccer (or football, if you prefer) legend. The watch has many subtle touches found on a soccer ball (or football). The seconds subdial at 3 o'clock, for example, has the hexagons found on a soccer ball. The same goes for the strap. Pele will also join the list of brand ambassadors for Hublot and his signature will be displayed on the back. The world cup is also being held in Rio de Janeiro, a smart marketing technique. The yellow stitching on the strap and it's touch on the dial really gives this watch that pop that it would be missing if it did not have this bright color. I will not attempt a guess at price because, to be honest, I have zero idea. This soccer (or football)-themed watch is going to sell quickly, especially with the world cup in the same city.
