The final Baselworld novelty from Speake Marin is in the J-Class collection and is called the Velsheda. This is a two-handed watch. I know, big deal. However, one of the hands displays hours and minutes, the other displays the seconds. Both have the SP logo as their center (seek the logo below), making an ever-changing pattern. Very cool idea once you think about it. Like many other watches from Speake Marin, it has a 42mm piccadilly style case. The watch is pretty much perfect on all fronts, except for maybe when telling time to the minute is required. The movement is completely hand-finished, has 35 jewels, a power reserve of 4-5 days, and a really cool rotor for automatic winding. The white lacquered dial is multi layered and has the classic roman numeral dial. Not to mention it also has great contrast. Super job Speake-Marin! More info on the Velsheda is available from the Speake Marin Website.
