First off, I apologize for the length between the last blog post and this one, but finding things to write about concerning new watches under $2,000 can be challenging at times. The new Runwell Chronograph is, as the name suggests, 47mm in diameter. It uses the same general design as the past versions, but the dial is cream-colored (this is basically the only difference). Inside is the Argonite 5021 quartz movement completely assembled by people in Detroit. The 5-link bracelet does not sit flush with the case like many watches do. It is up to personal opinion whether you like this or not. Of course, it does make it easier for strap changes because the bracelet is easier to remove. Pictures as well as all the specs of the watch can be found on the Shinola website. The retail price for the new Runwell chronograph is $900.
