This was the watch featured in the Rolex teaser film released a few days ago. It is rare that Rolex announces a completely new model. Usually they will update current models like they did with the GMT or Sea Dweller this year. It will come in a number of versions, the Cellini Time, the Cellini Date, and the Cellini Dual Time. Let's start with the Cellini Time. The "time" part of the name indicates that the watch displays just the time. No more, no less. Hours, minutes, and seconds is all the information you are going to get from this watch. The Cellini Time model is offered in four versions with a black or white dial in a 39 mm case in a choice of 18-carat white or Everose gold. It is set on a black alligator strap with a buckle to match the gold of the case. The Cellini date is available in the same size as the Time model with a diameter of just 39mm. The choice of dial colors and case metals is the same as well. The only difference is that this watch will have a date indicator at 3 o'clock. Finally we reach the Cellini Dual Time. This watch is the same as the others, 50m water resistant, 39mm case, black/white dial, white/everose gold case, etc. Just going off the name I think we can tell what this watch displays. It has a smaller sub-dial at 6 o'clock that displays a second time zone. There are subtle changes between the three versions, such as the "XII" notation at the 12 o'clock marker on the Time model, but the other two version use the Rolex crown instead. Regardless, it is a new model for Rolex and it is one of the watches that people go flocking to Baselworld to see. Click "Read More" to see the images of the Cellini watches.
