Usually I tend to avoid less-expensive watches on this blog, but in a drought of new high-end watches and my personal bias (I think it looks pretty nice) I've decided to write about AVI-8's new watch. AVI-8 is not a "watch-lover's brand". Their watches are not fantastic bargains and seem to be targeted more towards the casual wearer as opposed to the dedicated horophile. I favorably reviewed two of their watches a few years ago (the Flyboy and Hawker Harrier II) and this watch has many of the same design features of the Flyboy, such as the case and numbers, for example. You can find more info about the watch on AVI-8's website here.
