Breitling is a brand known for their pilot watches. That is their heritage, their roots, their identity as a brand. Now they have just released a watch to celebrate 50 years of aviation history. This watch will be known as the Patrouille Suisse 50th Anniversary. The Patrouille Suisse are an aerobatics group who have been performing since 1964. The brand has history with the PS also. They have already released several models and now they will release another. It is a 1000-piece limited edition. The 44mm watch is from their well-known Chronomat collection. It has a special engraved caseback that acknowledges the LE and partnership between the two by showing both xxxx/1000 and the Patrouille Suisse logo. The video below was released by Breitling on their youtube channel and it offers many views of the watch while in action. Pictures of the watch and the full article can be easily found by clicking here. No information has been released on pricing yet but I would guess it would be around $6K. These watches are going to sell like hot cakes.
