The two new Startimer watches, but especially the chronograph are some of my favorites I have seen yet. Alpina makes gorgeous watches, but these are some of the best yet. Keep in mind, I am discussing the design, not the movement or other technical aspects. Of course, the design is the most important part of the watch. Most people won't buy a watch based on the movement, especially if they don't like the design. Startimer Pilot Chronograph Big Date: Clearly aviation-themed, the design of the dial permits quick reading of both the chronograph and the regular time. The large crown and pushers will allow the wearer to adjust the time and use the chronograph with ease. The case is 44mm in diameter, has a sapphire crystal, is 100m WR, and houses the AL-280 quartz movement. Startimer Pilot Big Date:
This watch, similar the one above, could serve a pilot well. That is, if they still wore watches to tell the time. The only function it might require is a GMT. However, a GMT complication is not entirely necessary, but a convenience. This watch also has a 44mm case and a large crown (the crowns on both watches can be screwed down) for easy manipulation. The dial has a navy blue sunray finish. Behind the beautiful dial is the AL-280 quartz movement.
