Deep Blue is a micro brand based out of New York. They produce watches made in both China and Switzerland. This new model is made in Switzerland and uses the SW-200 movement to keep time. Their new models have 45mm case with a water resistance of 1000m. Much like the Rolex Submariner this new model has polished sides on the case and bracelet. The AE has an upgraded clasp that is found on watches like the Boschett Cave Dweller. These watches have a racheting divers extension, so they have more than just one extension length. Since it is water resistant to 1000m it has an automatic helium escape located at 9 o'clock. As the first picture shows, the lume is fantastic and surprisingly bright, even for Deep Blue who is known to have good lume. The Aqua Expedition will retail for $899, a fair price especially when other micros are asking anywhere from $500-$800 for watches with a 9015. Other pictures as well as specs can be found on Deep Blue's website here. I just can't stop thinking about that lume...
