The Minuteman MM1, which I introduced in early October(here), now has both names and a preliminary timeline. The watches are named after Revolutionary War battles. The white dial (both stainless and PVD) version is endowed with the name "Cowpens", the blue dial is the "Yorktown", and the black dial is called the "Bennington". Rather than funding production with no external support as they had done in the past, they are launching a Kickstarter campaign, which is not only a good way to collect money, but also to spread the word about new products. The pictures of all the watches are below (with their names above them). All of the images are taken from here (more information is also available): minutemanwatches.com/news.
Minuteman has received a lot of requests for a lower-priced, entry-level model. Finally, they have begun to deliver. The watch will be 38.5mm in diameter, a size that would work for both men and women. The watches will be water resistant to 100m and will come in the same packaging as their other, more expensive models. They will launch a Kickstarter to help spread the word about their new model and I will post a link when I see it. Despite the fact that the price is their lowest yet (the watch is expected to retail under $300 USD), I think this is my favorite watch from Minuteman yet. They released the renderings in early July, but have just released the first prototype pictures today.
