70 years ago, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry took off towards France on a reconnaissance mission. The plane would never return. Now IWC has released a series of three limited editions, all featuring the same 46mm silicon nitride ceramic cases. The only differences between the three versions are the pushers and crown, which are crafted out of either platinum, red gold, or titanium. Inside of the case is the automatic, IWC-manufactured calibre 89361 featuring 38 jewels, a power reserve of 68 hours, and a flyback chronograph. This watch places a large emphasis on the color brown with the brown case, strap, dial, and accents on the subdials. The watch is available in a limited edition of 1,700 pieces (titanium pushers, crown, and caseback). 170 pieces with the red gold pushers, crown, and caseback. Just 17 pieces with the rhodium-coated pushers, and platinum crown and caseback. It's definitely an interesting watch from IWC and I know we will see many mixed reactions.
