The newest from Breitling, the Avenger Bandit is a new take on the Avenger. Although I have long admired the design, the size is (at least to myself -- I have relatively small wrists) is a drawback and I hope that one day Breitling will release a version of the Avenger in a smaller size, maybe 40 or 41mm. I say this mainly because if I were to wear many of the Avenger models, it would appear that I had a car tire strapped to my wrist. Still somewhat related, the Avenger II GMT is 43mm in diameter so if I were going to buy one of the various models, this would be it. Sorry for the non sequitur, back to the Avenger Bandit. 45mm in diameter, the gray titanium case has a brushed finish. I only mention this because only two of the models in this line have a titanium case (the Bandit and the Blackbird). Breitling describes the Bandit as having a "stealth" case, which I guess makes sense to some extent. I would be interested to see if it could retain the matte-gray appearance it has in the photos in bright sunlight. Breitling says the case has a "satin-brushed [finish to] eliminate any undesirable glinting in the heat of action." I would assume this means it would, but I truly have no idea. One might notice the rather serious finishes present on the chronograph buttons and crown. These are placed on the watch in order to allow both to be operated even while wearing gloves. Another interesting feature is the titanium case back, which is adorned with a conversion scale for the main units. Of course, these two additions would only be useful in some occupations. In regards to the second, I would hope that a person already has these memorized. The case protects the Cal. Breitling 13 movement, an automatic chronograph. There are plenty of other things I am sure you would like to know, so instead of me listing them here, I'll just provide a link to the watch on Breitling's website. The watch retails for *PRICE UPON REQUEST*. In all seriousness, however, I was not able to find a price listed anywhere. Given the near $6,000 price tag on the Avenger II, I'd venture to guess the watch retails for probably $6,500-$8,250. It's a broad range, but as of right now all I can do is guess.
