Girard Perregaux has taken the popular Chrono Hawk collection and they have run with it. They have continually offered new models from this line. The new red gold Chrono Hawk embodies the same look as the older models, just in a new, more elegant tone. The case is still 44mm in diameter, the movement is still the GP03300-0076, and the watch is still water resistant to 100m. This isn't exactly a particularly important development from GP (due to the fact that the only real difference is the case metal), but it should not be overlooked when a company releases a new watch. Especially a Girard Perregaux, who makes some of the most interesting watches out there.
